Since childhood, I have witnessed the realities and suffering of the people of Chad. My dream has always been to help those who are vulnerable, especially women and children who face many unique challenges and barriers. I decided to transform my empathy into action by founding the Tchad Health Foundation. During my recent missions to Chad, I had the privilege of meeting with the people, notably those living in remote villages and in the Koufron refugee camp. I listened attentively to their needs and we responded by delivering health services and supplies to the refugee camp in May 2023. We continue to work diligently to build an extensive humanitarian program that will achieve lasting results.
I have qualifications, skills and experience that will benefit the foundation’s projects. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts specializing in Human Conflict Studies (BA, St. Paul’s University, Ottawa, Canada), that is recognized as a master’s degree in Chad. Additionally, I obtained a Police Foundation diploma in Canada and an advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance, in Chad. I have held positions in the areas of information management in the private sector, in Chad, and project management, within the Parliament of Canada. My fluency in several languages, including Arabic, French, English and many dialects spoken in Chad, enable me to understand and communicate effectively with the people of Chad and those who support our projects.
